Privacy policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. What we collect
- Account details: your email address, your name if you give one, and your password in a protected (hashed) form that we cannot read.
- Your devices: the device's ID, the name you give it, the unit it belongs to, its software version, and status information it reports: whether it is online, WiFi signal strength, its address on your local network, storage space and number of files.
- Your designs: the files you send, their names and sizes, who sent them, and where they were delivered.
- Your team: the email addresses you invite and the access you give them.
- Telegram: if you connect Telegram, your Telegram user ID and display name, so the bot knows which account a file belongs to.
- Records of activity: logins and important actions on your account and devices, with the time and the internet address used, to keep accounts secure and to investigate problems.
2. What we do not collect
- Your WiFi password. You enter it on the device itself. It stays on the device and is never sent to us.
- Payment card details. We do not store them.
- Tracking or advertising data. The portal and this website do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
3. How we use it
To deliver your designs to your devices, to show you the state of your devices and deliveries, to let the people you invite work with you, to send you messages you ask for (such as password resets and invitations), to keep the service secure, and to provide support.
4. How long we keep it
- Design files are held on the service only long enough to deliver them, and are deleted about 15 days after delivery or expiry. The record that a design was sent (name, size, time, status) is kept so that you can see your history.
- Account and device information is kept while your account is open.
- Activity records are kept for security and support.
5. Who else is involved
We use a small number of service providers to run EmbroShare. They handle information only as needed for their part:
- A network and security provider (Cloudflare) through which connections to the service pass.
- An email delivery provider (Brevo) for password resets and invitations.
- Telegram, if you choose to connect it: files you send to the bot pass through Telegram.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typeface used on our pages; your browser contacts it when a page loads.
We do not sell or rent your information. We disclose it only if the law requires us to.
6. Cookies
The portal uses two cookies, both essential: one that keeps you logged in and one that protects your account against forged requests. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. This website itself sets no cookies.
7. Security
Connections to the service are encrypted. Each device proves its identity with its own secret key. Passwords are stored in hashed form. Access to devices and designs is limited to the device's owner and the people the owner invites. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and remove people who no longer need access.
8. Your choices
- You can see and change your name and password in the portal, disconnect Telegram, remove team members, delete designs and remove devices.
- You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and its information, by writing to [support email].
9. Children
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.
10. Changes
If we change this policy in a significant way we will tell you by email or in the portal.
